Learn how to control life-threatening bleeding following everyday emergencies and disasters. This basic training will show you how to act as an immediate responder and save lives, whether the injury is caused by an accident, active shooter, or other disaster.

Attendees will learn a variety of methods to stop bleeding, including how to correctly apply pressure, dress a wound and apply a tourniquet.

This course is designed for the general public and requires no prior training.
Due to the graphic content of this topic, you must be at least 16 years old to attend.

Mercy Medical Center Redding staff will host two training sessions on Saturday, January 20th at 10am and 11:15am in Auditoriums C & D.
