Come and join us at the elegant Westenhanger castle surrounded by 14 acres of beautiful Kentish countryside.

This one day retreat will allow you some time to STOP from our crazy lives, allowing you to try some new experiences from one of our many workshops, meditations or treat yourself to a beautiful treatment. Just allow yourself some free time, take a walk within the grounds or just enjoy the impressive castle itself in one of the magnificent historical rooms with a roaring fire, while sitting back listening to some relaxing music which will be piped throughout the castle and grounds. Then enjoy your high tea which is included in the price.

This retreat is a digital detox which means no mobiles phones or devices, drop them off at the door and collect when you leave. There will be a contact number at the castle if needs be, however allow yourself to hand anything to do with everyday life at the door and totally immerse into your retreat and connection to yourself on this day.

The retreat is for ladies only and run by ladies, no dress code just your amazing selves.

Gentle Movements – Delivered by Emma Goodman from Emma Fitness

Emma Fitness Home - Fun, Friendly, Fitness Training in Maidstone, Kent

Emma will be working on gentle movements; there will be no star jumps or squats. Emma will be working with the everyday woman needs; this will involve movements delivered in a gentle but rewarding manner that you will be able to take home with you. Emma will be focusing on the core and pelvic region. Plus the generally tight areas we carry with stress in everyday life. This will be a low impact/ low intensity class for all ages and capabilities. No gym attire is needed just loose clothing that allows movement.

This class will be delivered in the magnificent under floor heated marquee overlooking the castle and gardens, a truly amazing location.

* A medical consent form will need to be completed which is attached to booking form to advise Emma before the workshop is completed.

Chakras and self healing – Delivered by Reiki Master Donna Miller

Reiki was rediscovered in the nineteenth century by a Japanese monk named Dr Mikao Usui. The tradition of Reiki is referred to in 2500 year old writing in Sanskrit, the ancient Indian language. The Usui System of natural healing, named after Dr Usui, has been passed down by Reiki Masters and today is practice worldwide.

Benefits of Reiki include but are not limited to;

  • Balances the energies in your body
  • Promotes natural self- healing
  • Releases block and suppressed feelings
  • Balances organs, glands and their bodily functions
  • Relaxes and reduces stress
  • Relieves pain
  • Clear toxins
  • Treats symptoms and causes of illness

Plus many more, if you are interested in any of the above allow Donna Miller, Reiki Master to introduce you to self healing techniques, movements, plus a discussion of the importance of your chakras and the meaning behind them.

Why don’t you treat yourself to a beautiful 10 -15 minute treatment from Amy to totally relax and spoil yourself and allow yourself to totally unwind. Amy will be offering the following:

  • Taster Reflexology
  • Taster shoulder head and neck massage
  • Taster face massage
  • Taster Indian head massage

* These treatments will be 10-15 minutes taster sessions costing an additional £10 and needs to be booked in advanced due to availability. Any medical conditions you will need to complete the medical consent form that attached to the booking form. Please advise the therapist before any treatments are conducted:

Guided Meditations

Throughout the day DC training Solutions Claire and Donna will deliver two meditations. Meditations will be guided and handwritten. The last meditation of the day will include the mesmerizing singing bowl allowing you to go into a deeper state of meditation. There are so many benefits to meditation which include:

  • Encourages Healthy Lifestyle
  • Increased Happiness
  • Reduced stress
  • Slows aging

Meditation allows your mind to take a little holiday to relax and restore. It does not matter if you have never meditated before as we will guide you through. If you are able to bring something to lay on if you prefer to lie down then please feel free to do so. There will be no right or wrong way on this day. This is a non judgemental retreat, it is purely allowing you to Stop and Relax.
