1st-8th Grader Camp Information and Session Dates

Our Summer Camp for 1st-8th graders is built with students in mind. We hire high quality and experienced instructors who specialize in making learning about nature safe and fun. Students will learn about a new nature topic each day, go on a hike in Cache National Forest, and explore all of what our over 1.6 million acre backyard has to offer!

The student to instructor ratio for Camp never exceeds 5:1, with at least two instructors per group.

In order to uphold our dedication to safety, all of our instructors will have First Aid and CPR certification, have a first aid kit, and group skill will determine group challenge. Camp is meant to be safe, fun, and educational, in that order.

Session One: Monday, June 10th-Friday, June 14th; 8:30am-5:30pm daily

Session Two: Monday, June 24th-Friday, June 28th; 8:30am-5:30pm daily

They are school teachers, environmental educators, scientists, university professors, and more! All instructors have previous experience working with youth, wilderness safety and first aid training, and a joy for what they do.

Monday of Camp Schedule

Monday will kick off with a Parent Orientation from 8-8:30am the first day only. We will be going over schedules, meeting staff, and answering any questions. Please be sure to attend!

Friday Camp Celebration!

On the Friday of each camp session at 5:30pm, we will be hosting a Camp Celebration! This end-of-camp event is meant to bring all of our Stokes families together for a fun celebration of the past week. Join us for food, camp skits, and the opportunity to hear all about your child’s week!

This is a potluck-style event, hosted by Stokes. Stokes will be providing the main dishes of hot dogs, hamburgers, and veggie-options. Families from each age group are asked to bring a dish to share, listed below. Please be sure to label your dish if it contains any common allergens!
