My subject line for this invitation was originally, "You are going to eat lunch anyway, right?"
I didn't use it because it only conveys 1/2 of the rationale why 150 attorneys in Stillwater (and many more in the surrounding community) should get together regularly. The other reasons include professional comradery, regional connections, networking, career development, and swapping stories that include the phrases "Minn. Stat. ..." and "Judge Armstrong" with others who will appreciate them. There is plenty of rationale for why this is worth an hour of your time, and you are going to eat lunch anyway, right?
Come to one of these lunches in 2016, come to some of them, or come to all of them.
Tell your office mates -- I certainly didn't invite all that should know.
RSVP if you can or come on a whim -- there will be plenty of room for us.
All lunches will be held in the Washington Dining Room of the Lowell Inn.
You'll note that I have varied the days of the week, weeks of the month and start times to create a great likelihood no standing commitments or regular court obligations will bar you from being able to make some of these lunches in 2016. The schedule is:
Friday, January 15th at Noon
Wednesday, March 9th at 12:30
Tuesday, May 10th at Noon
Thursday, July 21st at 12:30
Friday, September 2nd at Noon
Tuesday, November 28th at 12:30
