Greetings Still Standing/Purple Affair Supporters!
Team Still Standing would like to thank each of you for supporting our annual Purple Affair. What an amazing evening we had, all in the name of survivorship.
For those of you who could not attend, but made a donation to our survivor empowerment fund, we say Thank you!
This year, all donations and proceeds will benefit children who have lost a parent to domestic violence, as well our adopted family. If you were at the event, you had the honor of hearing our adopted family speak about their experience with domestic violence, and how the Still Standing Foundation played an intricate part in their journey.
The Purple Affair may be over, but we are still collecting donations for our adopted family until the end of October. If you were unable to attend the Purple Affair and would like to make a donation, you still have time.
You can donate in one of two ways:
- Click on the event link www.thepurpleaffair.eventbrite.com and make a donation in the amount of your choice.
- Click on the event link www.thepurpleaffair.eventbrite.com and purchase one of our awesome auction items.
Remember, all donations are tax deductible.
Thank you for your continued support!

Still Standing & Steppin Out
The Purple Affair
An Annual Fundraiser Benefiting, Celebrating, and Honoring
Survivors of Domestic Violence.
On October 3rd 2015, a diverse and philanthropic group of Atlanta media, business professionals, celebrities, advocates and social gatherers will assemble to pledge their generosity and ongoing support to a worthy cause at the 2015 Still Standing & Steppin Out, The Purple Affair – a benefit event that honors survivors of Domestic Violence.
Riding the waves of previous years vastly successful and generously sponsored Purple Affair, this year’s event is expected to be yet another night to remember. The event will feature a collage of entertainment that will include Mistress of Ceremony Tomika Webb, Fox 5 News Reporter George Franco, poetry, live entertainment and celebrity guest appearances. Guests will indulge in a catered dinner, enjoy special guest artists, a deejay, silent/live auction and an unprecedented fashion show in which survivors of abuse will rip the runway.
Proceeds will benefit The Still Standing Foundation’s “Survivor Empowerment Program”.
