Event description
The course aims to equip participants with the basic knowledge, skills and attitudes for the management of sexually transmitted infections.

About this Event

The GUIDE Clinic STIF course is a two day multi-disciplinary sexually transmitted infections (STI) course which is pertinent to GPs and GP trainees, practice nurses, family planning and reproductive health staff, doctors and nurses from Genitourinary Medicine clinics, health advisers, secondary care clinicians who may encounter patients with STIs; rheumatology, opthamology, O&G, ED, SATU.

It is recommended to attend both days although if you have attended day 1 in the last three years you can attend day 2 to update your knowledge and skills.

There is an optional e-learning in which attendees can partake. Further information will be provided by the course organiser before the course commences.

Speakers at the GUIDE Clinic STIF course include Consultants and Specialist Doctors in Genitourinary Medicine, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Clinic Nurse Specialists in Sexual Health as well as Medical Social Workers and the MSM Programme Manager from HIV Ireland.
