Come join other park stewards to enhance native ecosystems and natural processes by studying and influencing changes in park plant biodiversity.  We will explore the local flora and fauna and discuss the ecology, natural history, and cultural significance of landscapes in the park as we work side by side to improve habitat for the native birds, bugs, trees, and flowers of the Boston Harbor Islands.

National Park Service Natural Resource Partnerships Team

The mission of the Boston Harbor Islands National and State Park is to make the Boston Harbor Islands system—with opportunities for education, recreation, and restful solitude within an urban area—an integral part of the life of the region and the nation by protecting the islands and their associated resources while at the same time improving public knowledge and access.

The Natural Resource Partnerships Team is directed to maintain, restore, and/or preserve the cultural and natural resources of the park.  To that end the Resource Stewardship Team plans projects that incorporate a robust cadre of local volunteers to help manage and protect important natural and historic features with the park.
