First of all, thank you for becoming a vital part of our record attempt! We couldn't do it without you!

We're seeking Stewards to help manage the carolers signed up for the GWR attempt for the Most People Caroling.

Here’s how you sign up!

1- Download and fill out the partially-prefilled GWR entry form, print and bring with you to the event. No printer or computer? Check with the library or Chamber office. You will show this upon registration and complete the final questions as you leave. A check-out table will be located at Door 10 to turn in your final completed form.

2- Help us recruit the needed Stewards! Ask your friends to sign-up, too! Help us recruit more carolers, too!

3- Detailed instructions of your assignment. Please read these fully and recheck the instructions for changes on the day of the event.

As the CP Holiday Train leaves, proceed to the staging area. You will be directed to a numbered area (1-10) and given a pack of alphabetical numbers. As carolers arrive, scan their QR codes with your cell phone. And ask them to stand within the numbered area under the corresponding a, b, c or d given to them. Depending on the alpha you received to hand out this will be your team. Complete a final count of your team by checking your Eventbrite app before caroling begins.

You are responsible for the integrity of your team:

• Carolers are not allowed to leave the group until the final song is sung and door is visited. Anyone needing to leave must be re-scanned and is no longer allowed to participate.

• All members must sing all ten songs. It’s important that you encourage people to sing and have fun!

• We have 5 minutes between songs to assemble before the next door. Team One will be located closest to Door One, Team Two will be located to Door Two and so on. Follow the Signal person’s instructions, keep your group together and keep everybody safe from pushing, etc.

• IF you’ve already signed up for caroling and received a ticket, please cancel that one so we do not have duplicates.

• Checking Out- As you leave, be sure to turn in your completed Steward form.

4- Please have and/or do the following:

- Arrive at event by 3pm

- Have a fully charged cell phone (must be the one you registered with).

- Have your Eventbrite ticket ready on your phone.

- Review the songbook and map (available here for download). Printed versions will be available at the 3pm check in. Each numbered team will lead their corresponding song and be in front at their corresponding door (if this isn’t possible, that’s fine just our way of sharing the joy!) Remember keep it safe!

- Dress warmly! Wear warm, sturdy footwear.

- Don’t leave without turning in your form!
