On September 14th, SoStereo will host a town hall conversation and networking event with leading brand, advertising, and music executives about the importance of sonic branding in today's industry landscape. From creating a cultural connection to deploying a cohesive 360 campaign, learn how the top executives have harnessed the power of artist driven music to make more relevant and long-lasting connections with their consumers. Following the speaking panel, we'll have a networking hour with adult refreshments and some special musical performances.

  • Geoff Cottrill, Former CMO of Converse and Former President of MullenLowe/Boston:

    Geoff is a renowned executive with decades of brand and agency experience that lead him to become CMO of Converse and CEO of MullenLowe Boston. He strongly believes brands need to be bolder in their strategic and creative approaches and is adament that music is a perfect way to do so, bringing brands to the cutting-edge of culture. In his time as Converse CMO, he was instrumental in the creation of Rubber Tracks - Converse's connection with it's musical history - creating a space for up-and-coming artists to record and release their music as a way to build brand equity and earned media.


  • Gaston Legorburu, Chief Creative Strategist of Publicis.Sapient:

    Recognized by Adweek 50 as a game-changer who is modeling the creative company of the future and the NYT for his best-selling book "Storyscaping", Gaston set much of the strategic and creative vision for the SapientNitro brands for the past ten years as their first Global Chief Creative. Today Gaston serves as the Chief Creative Strategist for Publicis.Sapient providing clients with forward-thinking insights on their most transformative marketing and business challenges.


  • Alberto Perlman, Founder & CEO of Zumba Fitness:

    Alberto Perlman is the founder & CEO of Zumba Fitness. The largest dance fitness company in the world. The program is now taught at over 200,000 locations in 186 countries, with approximately 15 million people attending a class on any given day. Since the beginning he's been keen on turning Zumba into the biggest music platform that exist to date. He's worked artists like Shakira, Wyclef Jean, Pitbull and Daddy Yankee and many more.


  • Tom Adams, ECD of CP+B/Miami:

    Tom Adams helps lead the creative department at CP+B Miami, where he started his advertising career in the late-90’s. He went on to help launch one of the most successful and effective youth-oriented anti-smoking campaign efforts — the truth campaign. During his time at CP+B, Tom worked on iconic brands such as MINI, IKEA, Slim Jim and Geek Squad, while also helping to re-launch Burger King’s classic line “Have It Your Way.” After nine years at CP+B, Tom went on to co-found the creative boutique shop, Goodness Mfg, partnering with such brands as Toshiba, Under Armour, Lucas Arts and the National Council of American Indians. After a stint as Executive Creative Director at Deutsch LA, Tom rejoined CP+B Miami In 2016.


  • Mees Maks, CEO of Magic Hour Worldwide, ex-Director of Strategy of Vice:

    Mees Maks lives on the intersection of culture, strategy and creativity. He heads up Magic Hour Worldwide, specialized in developing and growing brands through authentic audience networks. Networks that can help a brand define their cultural play, create content for storytelling or deliver insights for innovation. Prior to Magic Hour Worldwide Maks worked as a Director of Strategy with agencies such as Naked, TBWA and Virtue, VICE’s client services arm. Along the way Maks was rewarded with multiple advertising and media awards.
