About the Coalition and the event:

For 36 years, the Coalition for the Homeless has helped thousands of individuals transition out of homelessness and into stable living situations, steady jobs, and a better quality of life. Stepping Out For The Homeless®is an annual fundraiser that specifically supports our Transitional Housing Program, which provides for the immediate needs of the homeless, including food, social services, and even rental assistance. The contributions of our attendees — including their ticket purchases — are critical in not only maintaining this program, but expanding and amplifying its impact. The dance is a way to gather our community, strengthen our ties, and drive home our mission — one (or a two-step) at a time.
