Stephen Bennett is a world renowned guitarist and composer, known especially for his work on harp guitar. Jim Bennett brings equal parts lyricism and swing to his original piano arrangements of hymns, jazz standards and original songs. Together the brothers combine to create music that draws from diverse genres; beautiful melodies or foot-stomping swing, they delight audiences wherever they play. Sly wit and the occasional bad pun between songs are just icing on the cake….

About Stephen:

Whether playing his great-grandfather's harp guitar, his 1930 National Steel or a standard 6-string, Stephen Bennett is a musician to hear. His playing has won awards and critical praise. In live performance and on record, his diverse musical influences and interests are joined with a lifelong love affair with the sound of guitar strings.

About Jim:

Jim Bennett has been making music for most of his life, bringing his eclectic, jazz-inspired style to everything he plays. The son of Methodist ministers, Jim grew up hearing hymns and spirituals (as well as jazz, rock, and classical music). It was a natural progression for him to begin improvising on those tunes. Whether a traditional hymn, gospel song, or Celtic tune, he takes it and creates a groove or a mood which invites the listener to sing along, tap their foot, or just relax and rest.
