What's better on a chilly autumn day than a steaming bowl of soup? Using fall vegetables, this program features two delicious soups that can be made for a quick meal. The recipes use little meat or no meat, are low in calories and high in nutrition.
Monday, October 14, 6pm: Meals on a Budget with Janelle Glick, LG Health Registered Dietitian
Learn simple ways to prepare healthy, affordable dishes on a budget. The recipes and tips highlighted during this presentation relate to meals made with five ingredients or less.
Monday, October 21, 6pm: What it Means to Eat Clean with Sally Meints, Nutrifreak, CPT, CCS
Learn the basics of creating and living the clean eating lifestyle. This includes what foods to avoid, how to make sense of nutrition labels, and the dangers of processed and genetically modified foods.
Monday, October 28 6pm: Health and Wellness Q&A with Amanda McFerren, InnerActive Fitness
