We couldn't wait to share the good news! STEM Talks Rhode Island is kicking off its 2018-2019 program on Wednesday, December 5th at the Providence Public Library. Join us as we welcome the 2019 Rhode Island Teacher of the Year, Charlene Tuttle as our Keynote Speaker to discuss STEM education and how to encourage students from underrepresented backgrounds to pursue STEM education and career paths.

In addition to Charlene Tuttle, the audience will also hear remarks from Karen Chacón, Executive Director of the Latino Stem Alliance in Boston, MA and Noah Jenkins, a recent University of Connecticut graduate who currently works as a Staff Engineer at Applied Physical Sciences Corp in Groton, CT.

The event is free and open to the public. However, registration is required. Complimentary refreshments and hors devours will be served.
