Help transform Steigerwald into a beautiful forest floodplain to benefit fish and wildlife. We will be planting trees along recently placed logs to restore the Gibbons Creek historic floodplain.

All ages and abilities welcome.

Fun for groups, families and individuals. Pre-registration is required and space is limited.

We provide: Tools, gloves, hot cocoa, coffee and snacks.

What to bring: Water bottle and travel mug

What to wear: Rubber boots will be super helpful! Dress for the weather; clothes may get wet and muddy.

What to expect: Estuary Partnership staff will check in volunteers, distribute gloves and tools. A staff member will demonstrate planting techniques and discuss safety. Volunteers will be planting for approximately 2 1/2 hours.
