Event description
STEAM Powered is the signature fundraising event for SPSF. Join us to support educational excellence in STEAM for SPS students.

About this Event

It’s time to register for the annual SPSF STEAM-Powered Fundraiser (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), which will be held on October 24th at the historic downtown Steam Plant. This is one of Spokane’s most recognizable landmarks, providing a unique event backdrop and experience for all.

This inspiring and entertaining evening celebrates students’ accomplishments in STEAM projects funded by the Spokane Public School Foundation’s grant program, and students will exhibit their work at the Steam Plant. This is also a major fundraiser for the Foundation’s grant program, so be prepared for opportunities to give during the event!

The event draws participants from a wide variety of backgrounds who are passionate about innovative learning opportunities that prepare students for success in today’s complex world.

The evening includes an inspirational keynote speaker (soon to be announced), live entertainment, an exciting live auction, and an opportunity to support the mission of the Foundation through a financial contribution.

STEAM learning is critical in today’s technological society. STEAM experiences help stimulate students minds and cultivate a sense of curiosity and eagerness to enhance their knowledge, use their critical thinking and solution-solving skills, all while enriching and preparing a new generation to succeed in post-secondary education and in the ever-growing information-based workforce
