Event description

Description

Staying connected and maintaining a social rapport with friends and family can be a challenge, especially as we encounter the convenience of digital technology. Staying connected is how we keep our friends and family informed and enhance the relationships and build our social circles.

This workshop will focus on the importance of staying connected with family and peers and how individuals can work together to help develop strategies that will not only influence friendships but promote strong community social and vocational relationships. This workshop is intended for youth and teens between the ages of 12 – 18, who struggle with staying connecting with friends or building strong social relationships.

The FAU Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) provides expert consulting, training and support, at no charge, for people with autism and related disabilities, their families and the professionals serving them.
