Your safety – the safety of your staff – often depends on how you react when things are out of your control. Yes you have trained you have reminded and you have verified that your whole team knows how to handle safety in your workplace but what happens when someone else comes in that is causing the issue?
“Staying Calm Collected and In Control” when you have to defuse a hostile customer when a vendor stops by and becomes unruly when two strangers happen upon your business and start fighting. Let’s all learn tips together so we can be empowered to maintain the control needed in our own workplaces.

Sandra is the Safety Manager at Redding Rancheria Tribal Government. She is responsible for the development implementation and management of all aspects of their Safety and Health program. This includes program oversight compliance auditing and inspections accident/incident investigations all aspects of training for staff management development and internal/external communications.
Their facilities include a government office two health care facilities a Head Start/Child Care facility a hotel a gas station and a golf course.
Sandy currently has over 680 safety focused unit hours from the University of California San Diego which includes her completion of the Professional Certification Program for Occupational Health and Safety for both Federal and California OSHA and both General and Construction Industries.
