Event description

Description

This training will give you a refresher on Statistical Process Control (SPC) and the related topics for properly monitoring and controlling a process using statistical techniques.

SPC uses control charts to assess the baseline performance of a process metric, and establish statistical control limits. These limits will help you identify unusual situations in your process that might signal a new problem, where the process might have failed, if it is drifting in the wrong direction, or has shifted up or down from historical levels.

If you are interested in stabilizing your process, and getting early insights when your process is having issues/problems, SPC is the right tool for you!

Control charts can be used on any process, such as budget forecast accuracy, energy consumption, equipment alignment, clean room particle counts, worker productivity, nonprofit donations, process cycle times, error rates, website speed, email open rates, customer survey response scores, customer wait times, and much more! Bring your ideas to class, and we will talk about how to apply these ideas to your specific work and industry.

The course is useful for those who are new to SPC, those looking for a refresher, and those who will be taking a Six Sigma certification exam, such as the ASQ Green Belt or Black Belt.
