    • An Overview on School Purchasing Practices that touches on the different purchasing opportunities:

    • Presenters should include WY DE representatives to provide regulatory interpretation, potential local player already involved school procurement practices for local food products and RFCO.
  • Food Safety (On farm practices/transportation/GAP)
    • Overview on why Food Safety matters
    • On-farm food safety for Produce production addressing food safety plans and documentation requirements:
      • U of WY Extension (?)
    • Custom, State and USDA processing facilities (Beef)
      • Acceptable allowances by WY DE for purchasing locally raised and processed beef products
      • WY DA on processing regulations
    • Presenters should include WY DE, WY DA and potentially a local school district and processor/producers.
