VIRTUAL CLASS for Florida Stormwater Erosion & Sediment Inspector Training Course

About this event

NOTE: This class is an ONLINE LIVE ZOOM class. You must have a webcam and speaker to participate in the class.

This 1 day training will provide private and public employees with the required qualification to conduct inspections of erosion and sedimentation controls for construction sites throughout Florida. This is a very detailed course which demonstrates visual BMPs and chemical treatment (PAM) used during actual construction projects.

*** CLASS will begin at 8:00 AM (Eastern Time)***

EARN THE FOLLOWING CREDITS FOR ATTENDING THIS CLASS CEUs/CECs/ PDHs given:

• FL Licensed General Contractors earn 8 CEU hours

• FL Licensed Professional Engineers earn 8 PDHs

• FL Association of Code Enforcement (FACE) officers earn 12 CEU's

* FL Licensed Drinking Water and WWTP Operators - 8 hrs.

* FL Certified Floodplain Managers (CFM) – ASFPM will grant 10 CECs

Organizer of STATEWIDE VIRTUAL - FL Stormwater Inspector Training Class

Hal Lunsford is a senior environmentalist with diverse work experience in land use and emergency management planning, landfill management, air pollution specialist, wetlands, and stormwater scientist. He currently owns Lunsford Environmental LLC, an environmental, stormwater erosion and sediment control training and consulting company. Hal has taught thousands of individuals in erosion and sediment control classes since 2000 and has over 21 years of private and public sector experience in construction site erosion and sediment control inspections. Hal is considered one of the top leading experts in the erosion and sediment control industry.

Hal has been a member of the International Erosion Control Association (IECA) for 20 years and currently serves as the Chairman of the Erosion and Sediment Control Education Track Committee and is the Florida representative for the Florida Southeast Chapter. He is also an active member of the U.S. Green Building Council.

Researching worldwide climate change and necessary preparation has been his latest passion.
