State of the Science Symposium: Metabolic Pathways and Therapeutics to Promote Resilience, Rehabilitation and Delayed Aging

About this Event

The objective of this symposium is to provide participants with insights into current research findings in the field of dietary modification and calorie restriction mimetics and to identify related strategies and therapeutics to promote resilience enhance rehabilitation and delay aging. The course will showcase cutting edge research findings related to diet and longevity and outline the promise of a variety of therapeutics designed to promote functional longevity and facilitate the treatment and rehabilitation of people impacted by disability and age-related disease.

The content of the sessions will be of benefit to those interested in the science of resilience, rehabilitation, longevity and aging including civilians, veterans, and military service members, their families, care-givers, non-profit organizations, government agency personnel, students, residents, healthcare providers and researchers.

Participants will also contribute to a gap analysis that will better focus future Department of Defense research and clinical investment in this area.
