Event description

Description

In honor of our 75th anniversary, please join us for UNCF's inaugural State of the HBCU Address, hosted by Bakari Sellers. The luncheon will set our agenda for federal lawmakers in the 116th Congress and highlight the progress and accomplishments of HBCUs over the past year. We will also release our first HBCU Congressional Scorecard. This scorecard will grade all 535 Members of Congress based on their support of legislation impacting HBCUs and their students. The scorecard will also include an “Honor Roll” list highlighting Members that have gone above and beyond in their efforts. The scorecard and methodology will be posted online after the event.

We hope you can join us for this special event as we continue our 75-year legacy of advocacy on behalf of HBCUs, low-income students, and students of color.
