Event description

Description

Our people are in a crisis and we have been for some time. Every day we see our people dying physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Many ask: “How did we get into this situation?” and more importantly, “How do we get out of it?”

Join us for a community gathering that will inform and inspire you.

This event will feature powerful guest speakers, music, spoken word, and valuable information.

We will not only be discussing the problem, but realistic solutions to get out of this condition.

If you are ready for a change, join us at Basu Farms for the “State of the Black Race: Past, Present, and Future” community gathering.

The event will feature:

Brother Heka Ma’at Kemet (Owner of the PH Company) of Pembroke, IL

Sister Rhonda Sekhmet Ra (Spoken Word Artist) of Wilmington, NC

Brother Shaba Kojo (Educator) of Miami/Fort Lauderdale, FL

Mama Makeda Baker, RN, MA (Historian, Lecturer, Psychiatric Nurse) Chicago Native

Baba Kahlil Bey, PhD, MSW, LPC, MAC, RPS, ICAC (International Addiction Specialist, Behavioral Health Therapist, Educator & Reiki Master Practicioner) in Baltimore & DC

and Special Musical Guests with a Live Concert from musical group, "Window Seat"
