Startup Weekend Zanesville

Startup Weekends are 54-hour events designed to provide superior experiential education for technical and non-technical entrepreneurs. The weekend events are centered on action, innovation, and education. Beginning with Friday night pitches and continuing through testing, business model development, and basic prototype creation, Startup Weekends culminate in Sunday night demos to a panel of potential investors and local entrepreneurs. Participants are challenged with building functional startups during the event and are able to collaborate with like-minded individuals outside of their daily networks.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

We'll be at the Advanced Science and Technology Center. Parking is free and close to the facility.

What should I bring to the event?

Laptop

Power cord

Business cards

Camera – take pictures and video!

Optional: A second monitor, keyboard, etc…. set yourself up to be productive!

Lots of creative energy!

What's the refund policy?

No refunds will be granted within 7 days of the event if food and drink have already been ordered. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

So that the registration process goes smoothly, we recommend that you bring the ticket with you.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes, but please email zanesville@startupweekend.org as soon as possible to let us know that you've transferred the ticket.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes; however, we print name tags. Please email zanesville@startupweekend.org to make sure we have the appropriate information.
