The evening will begin with a brief technical presentation, followed by a Q&A session.

Intent Media’s DevOps team will lift up the hood and show us the continuous deployment tools they use, and provide some insight into how they maximize them. They will tell us about the proprietary tool they’ve built for deploying and pushing out hot fixes and show us how they use RightScale to manage their cloud resources and how they leverage its API for automation. They will run us through an overview of their cloud architecture, and share how their process automation prevents downtime. They will also share their insight into the custom tools used for deployment risk analysis.

Tech Talk by: Jason Wash, DevOps Engineer has a background in software engineering at various startups and in consulting that spans over 15 years. At Intent Media he is responsible for developing tools to help automate processes and optimize infrastructure in the cloud.
Introduction to Intent Media by: Kurt Schrader, CTO was a technical team lead at Thoughtworks and helped build engineering teams at several startups, including Collaborative Drug Discovery, Triggit, and Ten Ton Labs, where he was a co-founder. He has more than 15 years of experience building scalable distributed systems and high-performance engineering teams.
