Citizinvestor is Crowdfunding for the people; this is not your Mom’s Kickstarter! I know you’re thinking crowdfunding isn’t a new phenomenon and you’re right but this one is different. Founded by the unlikely pair of Jordan Raynor and Tony Desisto; one media strategist and the other an attorney with a shared passion for building communities, empower citizens and solving real problems. The two launched their company in 2012 and haven’t looked back.
Citizenvestor is tackling the public budget deficit problem by filling unmet needs through crowdsourced citizen donations targeted to specific projects. Come and learn how this dynamic duo are changing community involvement and giving citizens of communities across the country a voice at city hall. They will share insights on starting, growing and successfully overcoming challenges to grow their bootstrapped startup here in Tampa Bay.
