Life as a game – meting Hristo Tenchev, the mastermind behind XS Software.
Ladies and Khans*, we are reconvening again at Betahaus on 27th our 2014 meetings and talks on startups, technologies and entrepreneurship. Our guest will be Hristo Tenchev – the founder and owner of XS Software – a prominent company in the gaming industry whose portfolio attracts more than 35 million players around the globe! Starting as a young tech pro but being a quick learner, Hristo managed to develop his company in less than 10 years.
In XS Software’s portfolio we find games such as Khan Wars, Andromeda 5, Lady Popular, Nemexia, etc. which has been played and enjoyed by people speaking more than 35 languages from over 80 countries. The product and services success lead to a number of industry awards, growth of the team to more than 100 people and ambitions to introduce more intriguing games and services to the international gamers.
You should expect insights and hints not only on how to get extra coins in Khan Wars or increase popularity in Lady Popular but also on the process of creating and marketing games. We would touch on the needed skills to be successful in software and gaming industries, on the role of education and ways to bridge the existing gap on the market. Don’t hesitate to ask for hints on monetization, payment methods, mobile games and of course the future challenges.
The venue is Betahaus (56-58 Krum Popov Str., Sofia), we start at 18:30 with some informal discussions, making new friends and positive attitude to new ventures.
