Join us August 22 when we welcome James Fowler, social scientist and author of Connected: How Your Friends' Friends' Friends Affect Everything You Feel, Think, And Do.
During our fireside chat, we'll be discussing Fowler's book 'Connected', real-life social networks, and how they might influence startups and the relationships that exist between entrepreneurs.
Fowler is Professor of Medical Genetics in the School of Medicine and Professor of Political Science in the Division of Social Science at the University of California, San Diego. His research in the study of social networks, cooperation, and political participation has been highly acclaimed, notching him a spot on Foreign Policy's Top 100 Global Thinkers and an interview with Stephen Colbert. It doesn't hurt either, that The McLaughlin Group named him "most original thinker" of the year.
***Come early as seating will be on a first-come-first-served basis. Attendees can park at 101 West Broadway, but be advised, they can only validate 2 hours worth, while Horton Plaza across the street offers 3-hour parking validation inside the mall.
