What is Startup Grind?
Startup Grind is a 400,000 person global community powered by Google for Entrepreneurs. We host monthly events for entrepreneurs in 200-cities in 85 countries. Each event features a successful local founder, innovator, educator or investor who shares personal stories and lessons learned on the road to building great companies. We offer yummy food + drinks and spend an hour filming an informal, intimate fireside-chat-style interview with our awesome person of the month then have a Q&A and mixer. Each event gets archived on www.startupgrind.com some of the past interviews were with business legends like the founders of Nest, Capital One, Pinterest, Stripe, SoundCloud, Words with Friends, Intuit, Indiegogo... the list goes on and on. These interviews are a unique peek behind-the-scenes at the life, journey and insights of those who have gone before, and are incredibly engaging and inspiring events. Startup Grind was recently featured in Forbes magazine and is quickly becoming known as the TED talks of the entrepreneur world. Our Flagship Events include our Startup Grind Global Conference in Silicon Valley with 3-5K attendees, Startup Grind Europe held in 2016 at the Central Hall Westminster in London, and Startup Grind SoCal. 2017 Global Conference FAQ
When and where is the Global Conference?
Programming runs from 8AM to 6PM on both days (February 21th and 22nd). We’ll be hosting an afterparty on the 21st that will go until 10 PM. On Monday Night (February 20th) we're hosting a private Welcome Night with a special guest speaker for those who purchase a 2-for-1 or early ticket (stay tuned for your invite - space is limited!)
The event takes place at the Fox Theater at 2215 Broadway, Redwood City, CA.
What does a general admission ticket get me?
You’ll have all-access to two full days of speaker sessions and networking across multiple theaters in Redwood City. Your ticket also includes coffee, lunch, snacks, and drinks throughout the day. It also admits you into the Startup Grind afterparty and parties throughout. For our best deal, get the 2-for-1 ticket - bring a friend and get access to Monday night!
*2-for-1 ticket holders receive access to our pre-conference event the evening before with a special surprise guest*
My company wants to be seen. Can I sponsor or exhibit?
We work with Fortune 500 as well as newly launched companies to reach entrepreneurs around the world, and we’d love to work with you as a sponsoring partner. You’ll reach thousands of entrepreneurs, business owners, as well as developers, investors, and the like during our event. As a sponsor, we’ll also include you in messaging to our network - spanning across hundreds of thousands of online followers and subscribers. Please fill out the form linked above or email our VP of Partnerships, Karlie@startupgrind.com for more info.
Can startups exhibit?
If your business has raised less than $3MM and has fewer than 20 employees, you’re eligible to apply for the 2017 Startup Program. If selected, you’ll have the chance the exhibit your company during the conference, be exposed to our network of 200 investors, and enjoy perks like media opportunities and startup service discounts.
The Startup Program is simple and transparent: if chosen, your startup receives 4-full day tickets, including a display booth for one of the two conference days.
