Startup Grind Charleston Hosts Tim Kelly, Prag Shah (Zubie)

During this event we'll be speaking with the Zubie Management Team, Tim Kelly (CEO) and Prag Shah (SVP Customer Experience and Operations)
Tim Kelly, Zubie CEO, has more than 25 years of executive management and marketing experience in technology, mobile and wireless, serving consumers and SMB’s. He most recently served as president and chief executive for Network Solutions, an internet enablement provider serving small businesses and consumers. Kelly led the company through a period of growth and expanding profitability, and in October 2011, drove the successful sale of the company to Web.com. Prior to Network Solutions, Kelly enjoyed a successful career at Sprint Nextel, as President of the company’s Consumer Division and as Chief Marketing Officer. Kelly was also President of Tickets.com, an Internet-focused live event ticketing company. Kelly graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s in Marketing, and earned his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Nova Southeast University.
Prag (Pragnesh) Shah, Zubie Senior Vice President of Customer Experienc Operations, was most recently President of Global Consumer Markets for Rosetta Stone, where he led the global P&L, marketing, online retail sales, and operations with offices in London, Munich, Tokyo, Seoul, Sao Paulo, and Washington DC. While at Rosetta Stone, he helped drive the shift from packaged software to digital subscription services, and launched new business models in Europe and Asia.
Previously, Prag was Vice Presiden & GM Online Channels and User Experience at Network Solutions (sold to Web.com), a leading consumer and small business online services provider. Prior to that he held several executive positions at Sprint wireless and Sprint Corporation, primarily in E-commerce, customer sales & operations, strategy, and product innovation.
Prag has also served as CEO of an international mobile payments venture, and has served on advisory boards of early stage, tech start-ups. In his early career, he was an aerospace engineer with NASA.
He earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, a M.S. in space systems engineering and a B.S. in mechanical engineering both from the George Washington University
