Event description

Description

Other statup founders pratice pitching to a venture capitalist. In this training session, you will don a baseball helmet and step into the batting cage to pratice your swing (i.e., bat ideas around), not throwing your ideas away!

Each ball will have a fictitious amount of investment dollars up to $95,000 and the outcome of your 2-minute sessions depends on your skill and ability. Can you hit the idea out of the park?

NOTE 1: All participants must agree to be recorded digitally and give permission to have the video posted online or appear in media broadcasts or news reporting. You will explain your business idea to a venture capitalist and the other listeners while the machine hurls baseballs in your direction.

NOTE 2: Fee covers batting cage rental and donation to a 501(c)(3) entity. Once you remit your funds, you will be contacted to participate in a batting cage session based on your schedule. Your participation will be scheduled within two to three weeks due to high interest.
