Enterprise Skills Ladder Workshops are run by Surrey Student Enterprise and are open to all students studying any course at the University of Surrey. They are practical workshops run by experienced entrepreneurs on topics such as Funding, Marketing & Branding, Finance and exploring whether starting a business is for you.
Surrey Student Enterprise Skill's Ladder sessions kick off with Starting your own business: is it for you?
Janet Preston will lead this workshop, which will tell you what you need to know and help you take those vital first steps.
By the end of the workshop, you will have:-
Looked at the factors you need to consider when starting a business
Been introduced to planning and decision making techniques
Understood your attitude to risk and been introduced to risk assessment techniques
