Since time immemorial people have been telling stories. Our stories are our anthropology, our history, our sharing of lessons, and passing on of legends; they are our magic, our mythology, and our means of educating. Our stories unify us, reminding us we’re not alone, reminding us we’re a part of something much bigger than our individual selves, though each of us has a place within the whole. In a world of digital connectivity that leaves the vast majority feeling woefully disconnected, our stories are more important now than they’ve ever been, as they face the devastating possibility of being forever lost in the fray of 140-character sound bites.
You have a story inside of you waiting to be told. It is as uniquely individual as your fingerprint. Somebody needs to hear it. In this workshop, you’ll be guided through the creation and sharing of a piece of your personal story and offered an opportunity to be seen and heard and to experience the impact of your story through sharing it with others.
