Squeezing, Recruiting, and Mystery Shopping: The True Stories Behind The Juicery, Goodwin Recruiting, 360 Intel & More - Sponsored by Lake Street Advisors

Alex Vandermark is the Owner of The Juicery, Maine Squeeze, and The Soupery. Since purchasing the first Juicery in 2008, Alex has been overseeing the success and development of what has grown to become eight locations and counting. As a driven and creative entrepreneur, Alex has worked to grow The Juicery from its original 100 sq. ft. juice bar to a full family of brands all with a focus on nourishing our communities by using fresh, simple, and wholesome ingredients with a sustainable approach. Beyond his professional work, Alex enjoys living an active lifestyle and getting outdoors by hikiing, golfing, and snowboarding.

Eric Goodwin is an entrepreneur with five hospitality-based businesses including Goodwin Recruiting, 360 Intel, The Friendly Toast Restaurant, Nobl Coffee and Lure Bar & Kitchen. Goodwin discovered his desire for a career in hospitality and entrepreneurship in his early years while working in restaurant operations for companies like Common Man and Chili's. Eric's unique experience in the restaurant industry allowed him to see an opportunity to improve the way management recruiting was done in the industry. Eric founded Goodwin Hospitality in 1999, where he worked regularly with recruiters in the New England area to help staff the restaurants and found much-lacking industry experience and integrity. Since the start of that solo operation, the company has expanded to over seventy recruiters nationwide and has become Goodwin Recruiting. Along with five hospitality-based businesses, Eric is a member of the University of New Hampshire Board of Advisors and has built two customer satisfaction businesses, Goodwin Hospitality, and Campus Feedback.
