Event description

Description

Spend 4 hours with me so that you can get clear on how to proceed with living your life in balance. Yes, you can shine and be spiritual at the same time.
This is a step by step guideline on how to clear doubt and self-criticism so that you can be an authentic spiritual being who is no longer fearing if you are humble enough.

Have you fallen into the humility trap?
What do I mean by the humility trap?
I mean have you been playing small so that you can fit in.
Will you let yourself shine without apology?
An identity crisis occurs because of the desire of wanting to be an authentic person. Authenticity has been misconstrued as being humble. Humility has been misconstrued as needing to play small.
Then you find yourself scaling back on your dreams and desires because wanting something big for yourself is viewed as being self-involved.
You do not want to outgrow your friends and definitely not outshine your romantic partner.
Heaven forbid that you shine brighter than your friends by having the better job, more education or make more money. Then you will be perceived as trying to be better than everyone else.
The fear of being a woman who is outshining her partner can be scary. Women who are successful are often viewed as less feminine.
Women are expected to give not take.
You want to be a humble spiritual being that is more interested in being down to earth and real versus successful. After all, society has groomed us to believe that chasing success is empty and soulless.
Somehow, we have arrived at this point in society that having an identity that desires more is selfish and not soulful. Humility is often defined as you should only want enough. Wanting any extras in life means that you are not operating from a place of spirituality.
Most of us have played small because we did not want to upset a loved one or a friend by shining bright. Besides, who wants to be called boastful. Wanting a full life still, has this negative connotation. Successful people are judged. Being a good person means giving to the point of having nothing for yourself. You are left emotionally drained and spiritually exhausted but that is what givers do.
I was once in the humility trap. It was a sad and lonely place to be. I wanted to fit it and not be judged. So, I played small to the point of being invisible. I cared too much about what others thought instead of honoring myself.
Working in the spiritual community adds, even more, pressure because us spiritual workers are expected to not ask for money because money is deemed as less spiritual. I filed for bankruptcy several years ago because I gave to others and not to myself.
At the end of the day, you must like who you see in the mirror. You must like your life. And you must love yourself. Self-esteem will never be acquired by living a life of self-doubt because you are concerned about pleasing others to the point of losing yourself.
Part of shining is allowing yourself to be the woman that YOU want to be. No more worrying about what will “ they “ think.
