Event description

Description

Effective use of supports and interventions is a key strategy for the successful inclusion of students with disabilities. Our conferences will focus on supports and accommodations in the classroom and community while preparing youth for positive outcomes after high school. Our special guest presenter is Amy Pleet-Odle, author of INCLUDED WITH THE END IN MIND. Amy is an educator and parent of 2 young adults with special needs. You will also hear from a student/self advocate sharing his/her story as an included student, as well as a panel of parents talking about their experiences with how inclusion benefits their children along with the importance of planning for their future.

With knowledge, tools, and passion parents and educators can help ALL children succeed.

Target Audience: Parents, grandparents, caretakers, professionals and educators of children with and without disabilities
