The Character Education Week Initiative's Partners promote character education among all PreK-12 schools as we work together to prepare students for the demands and challenges of the 21st century. We are all part of this initiative because we believe that a child's character development is of the utmost importance.
The Character Education Week Initiative encompasses universal core ethical values essential to a healthy society such as citizenship, respect, accountability, dedication, responsibility, caring, honesty, kindness, leadership, integrity, etc. We invite you to join all of us in recognizing the critical importance character education plays in students' lives.
One of this partnership's first activities was the Color the World with Character Poster Drive for students in grades PreK-12 from all over the world. We received students' entries from Argentina, Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, Ecuador, Egypt, Ghana, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Peru, Russian Federation, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Ukraine, Venezuela, and the United States.
It is time to emphasize the importance of character education by celebrating the students' successes.
