StarHacks is an all-female identifying and nonbinary high school hackathon. It is a 48-hour overnight virtual coding event where attendees of all different coding backgrounds work to build a software project addressing a real world issue (this year's theme is mental health).

Our mission is to provide a safe and empowering space for womxn to explore coding, regardless of experience. We strive to encourage them to pursue technology and computing, a largely male-dominated field, making us one step closer to closing the gender gap.
