About this Event

STAR Institute, based in Denver, Colorado, is world-renowned for it's approach to treatment and research for those living with sensory challenges.

June 14th, 2019, 8:00am-4:30pm - Professional Workshop Day:

This 1-day lecture based introduction will introduce participants to the STAR Frame of Reference, designed to support clinical reasoning when providing therapeutic services to individuals with sensory processing challenges and their families.

*AOTA Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be provided by STAR Institute

Saturday, June 15th, 2019, 8:00am-12:00pm- Parent Workshop

Participants will be introduced to Sensory Processing Disorder-the sensory systems, different subtypes, characteristics, challenges and other considerations. General strategies and problem-solving methods to help individuals and families living with sensory processing/integration challenges.

*We kindly request that only parents, caregivers or family members register for this workshop day.
