Event description

Description

A symposium (Sept. 29 & 30) focusing on contemporary topics in radiation oncology, including SBRT/SRS, immunotherapy + RT, quantitative imaging, therapeutic response assessment, MRI simulation and MR guided RT, knowledge-based planning and big data, radiomics and radiogenomics, hadron therapy, and other clinical innovations, will be held on Stanford University campus in Sept. 29 & 30, 2017 (right after 2017 ASTRO Annual Meeting). In addition to the didactic presentations, representatives from industrial companies will also be at the assigned information desks to present their latest technologies. We will have a hands-on session in the afternoon of Sept. 30 Saturday for the attendees who are interested in learning some practical skills in treatment planning and delivery or simply touring the Radiation Oncology Clinic of Stanford University Hospital.

Please mark your calendar for this timely educational opportunity. A detailed program of the symposium has been made available here.
