#standwithme Film Premiere — San Francisco, CA
Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM (PST)
San Francisco, CA
San Francisco marks the very first stop on the #standwithme Premiere Tour, and we're doing it big. The whole Stillmotion team will be coming down from Oregon for this one, as well as the film's main characters: 9-year-old Vivienne Harr, world renowned humanitarian photographer Lisa Kristine, and Paul Rice — founder and CEO of Fair Trade USA.
This is not just a celebration of the tour's big send-off — it's a chance to talk the true visionaries of a world without slavery. By attending this event you'll have a chance to ask them any questions you may have after the film and join in our discussion.
#standwithme is the most powerful story we've told in our 9 years as a film studio. It's also been the most challenging. Please join us in this very special event. Make a night of it, bring the family, and start a conversation about how together we can shape a world without slavery.
The location is based on the number of attendees. We will announce the venue no later than three weeks before the event.
Event Time and Duration
The film runs 76 minutes. In addition to the film, we're having a Directors' Session. Plan for the event to last 2-2.5 hours.
Event Ticket Sales
You can purchase single tickets or a 2-pack. If you are interested in purchasing bulk packs of 10 tickets or more, please contact the organizer.
Tickets are transferrable.
When & Where
We believe well told stories can change the world, and the #standwithme story has incredible potential — but none of it matters if no one watches it unfold. We could wait for distribution, for a TV exec to see our film and want to put it on TV or release it online — but we didn’t make this film to stand by and wait for things to come to us. This story simply needed to be told; so we dove in with all of our hearts, time, and resources to bring it to life. We’ll be at every stop and can’t wait to start sharing this with the world.
We hope you'll join us, and we hope you'll stand with us.
