For nearly 10 years, Eastern Standard has been a beloved neighborhood mainstay that has meant many things to many audiences – a venue for upscale business breakfasts and lunches, a cozy afternoon studying spot for BU students, a lively post-work or pre-Sox watering hole, a backbone of the city’s after-hours industry activity. With the second installment of Standard Education – a day of interactive classes, tastings and demos highlighting signature aspects of its food and beverage programs – ES shows guests “It’s All in the Details” with the careful touches, devotion to craft and culture of hospitality that go into curating exceptional moments for all who dine beneath the red awning. Inspired by the internal staff education programs at ES, the engaging lessons give guests of all levels the chance to learn with and from members of the ES team in their area of expertise.

When & Where
Located in Boston's Kenmore Square neighborhood, Eastern Standard Kitchen & Drinks opened in May 2005. The definition of a neighborhood brasserie, its clientele of regulars runs the gamut from students to captains of industry, soccer moms to young professionals, and restaurant industry folks to sports figures. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week, guests can enjoy dining at the bustling bar, canopied outdoor patio or handsome dining room. The first solo venture from restaurateur Garrett Harker, Eastern Standard has made an indelible impression on the Boston dining scene.
