Headliner: Mat Alano-Martin
Mat Alano-Martin comes to comedy from the world of rock and roll, where he spent 10 years touring North America as a member of several unknown bands and as a tour manager for much more successful, well known bands. With a comedic style that bridges the social and political views of his indie-rock background with the attitude and sensibilities of his rural and blue collar youth. AlanoMartin’s debut album “Profiled as Such” can be heard on the Sirius/XM Raw Dog comedy channel. He has appeared on the nationally syndicated The Bob & Tom Show, Laughs on Fox TV and at several festivals across the country. He is also the co-founder of the Limestone Comedy Festival and Arch City Comedy Festival
Feature: Mitchell Potts
Mitchell Potts is a comedian that lives in Bloomington, IN. Using a combination of self-deprecating humor and clever one-liners, Mitchell has charmed audience across the Midwest. He was a featured performer in the 2016 Limestone Comedy Festival and the 2016 Arch City Comedy Festival and has work with some of the biggest names in comedy like Nikki Glaser, Kyle Kinane, and Roy Wood Jr.
Host: Christopher Schmidt
Christopher Schmidt blends the experiences of everyday life with the imagination of a child raised on a steady diet of cartoons to create absurd narratives which are both grounded and fantastic. A lover of language and sucker for structure, Chris embraces wordplay and verbal sleight of hand to craft punchlines that are as sneaky as they are satisfying. Childless dad joker, recovering Hulkamaniac, optimistic nihilist--Chris can be described in a number of unfavorable terms, yet somehow they all combine to form an endearing and frustratingly irresistible package, a man who lives to see if you'll laugh. Christopher is the winner of the fourth annual Caste of Killers Battle Royale contest, earning the title of Milwaukee's Funniest Comic 2014. He has appeared in the Milwaukee Comedy Festival, Michigan's Laughfest, and the Derby City Comedy Festival in Louisville and produces Milwaukee's Duck and Cover Comedy Hour and Hot Room Comedy Showcase.
