We will be hosting Level 2 authorized Ashtanga Teacher, Stan Woodman, April 21-23, 2017.Stan took is first yoga class in 1991 and began a dedicated practice in 1997. His daily love for Ashtanga Yoga has continued to inspire his teaching and way of life. Stan’s traditional approach to Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga allows practitioners to develop a daily practice, be mindful, learn the fundamentals and begin to expand what you learn into your daily lives.
Friday 6:00-8:00pm Traditional Led Primary Series - $45
Come explore the traditional count and enjoy the sweet sounds of Sanskrit as Stan leads us through the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga, followed by discussion.
Saturday 7:00-9:00am Mysore Practice - $35
Saturday 11:30-1:30pm - Deconstructing the Standing Sequence - $45
Let’s take a deeper look at the standing postures. This time will be dedicated to exploring the correct breathing, drishti, vinyasa count and alignment of the standing sequence.
Saturday 3:00-5:00pm - The Ins and Outs of Primary Series - $45
It’s time to come sit in the practie and how do you get there? We will explore the main transitions in primary series including jumping back and thru including some of the fun transition which come further along in the seated sequence. There will be discussion, a demo, and some playful practice.

Sunday 11:00-1:00pm - Yoga Sutra Study and Q&A - $45
Come and explore Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra and discover a deeper understanding of why and what we are “practicing” on our yoga mat. Yoga is a means to engage our senses and a path to control the mind leading to great happiness, awareness and understanding of our true self. We will look at how Patanjali described “practice” and take a deeper look at the 8-limbs. This workshop is designed as a discussion/study group.
