Description

In this session we will review the tactical and practical HR, Financial, and IT considerations that we recommend to organizations like yours when employees leave by choice or involuntarily. We will cover ways in which you can protect your organizational data, reputation and compliance exposure when employees leave. Experts from our HR, IT, and Finance area will share termination checklists and share stories about what works and what can go wrong to help you review and inform your current practices.

Who Should Attend:

Any professional, board member, or volunteer of nonprofits of any size. Ideal for those in HR and/or hiring manager roles.

About the Presenters: Insource Services, Inc.

Saleha Walsh, Vice President

Saleha co-leads the delivery of Insource’s professional services to our clients. She is jointly responsible for the overall management of client engagements and providing leadership to and strategic direction for Insource’s consulting services. Saleha is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in general operational and human resource management. She brings her expertise in direct communication and skills in contextual decision-making to managing Insource’s operations and addressing our client’s needs. Insource’s staff and clients benefit from the objective approach Saleha utilizes to address issues in her HR work with clients and in the oversight of quality client services.

Saleha holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Merrimack College.

Ryan Ecclestone, IT Director

Ryan currently serves as an IT Director specializing in IT Strategy and Operations and has been working in the Information Systems Technology field for ten years. Strategically focused, Ryan seeks to enhance his clients’ business operations through the identification, assessment and deployment of leading edge technology solutions that have immediate positive effects and sustainable long-term business impact. He brings a unique ability to both identify and subsequently deploy these systems. Ryan leads strategic IT initiatives and project teams to provide ongoing IT operations and management support to start-up companies, organizational spinoffs, and mature businesses. He has overseen complete ground-up builds and technology systems re-designs. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Bentley University with a minor in Business Economics. He holds his PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification from PMI. (Project Management Institute).

Michelle Porreca, Senior HR Consultant

Michelle is an HR Generalist experienced in all aspects of HR administration, including benefits administration, development of employee handbooks and employment law and compliance. Michelle has developed and implemented HR infrastructure for companies of all sizes locally and nationally; coached and supported management and executive teams on issues ranging from best practices to performance improvement plans and risk reduction; and has provided employee relations support. She holds a Master of Science degree in criminal justice from Suffolk University and a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from Northeastern University.

Elizabeth Stasiowski, Senior Finance & Accounting Manager

After serving as a director of finance for nearly a decade, Elizabeth uses her extensive experience to keep clients on track financially, up-to-date with regulatory requirements and compliance issues and looking forward to create long-term financial stability. She is experienced in addressing boards of directors and making financial data accessible to a variety of stakeholders and decision-makers. Her background includes a strong understanding of grant management, Government Auditing Standards, OMB Circular A-133 compliance and UFR preparation; and she has developed budgeting and tracking tools and templates. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Boston College and a Master of Social Work from Boston University. She has also earned certificates in accounting, public purchasing and nonprofit management and leadership.
