Event description

Description

XX School, the GDST and Positive invite you to a stimulating evening revealing the results of cutting-edge research into improving and maintaining psychological health, well-being and resilience in schools. Leading experts in wellbeing and academic attainment will deliver insights from the latest advances in psychology and neuroscience, currently being delivered as part of the Positive Schools Programme.

In partnership with Positive, the GDST has delivered the Positive Schools Programme across 24 schools and 2 academies in the past 18 months. The programme has now touched over 170 Teachers, 6000 students, and we will hear from some of them to discuss how they have incorporated Positive's cognitive and behavioural tools into their daily lives at school, and the benefits this has already offered in helping young people to fulfil their potential.

We will also be discussing the new developments Positive and the GDST schools are planning to make this year, including a purely app-based programme for all staff members and for Parents of the students, as well as some exciting case studies around Action Research which some of our pioneer Positive Teachers have been running.
