Angel Investor

Ronald Conway has been an active angel investor for over 15 years. He was the Founder and Managing Partner of the Angel Investors LP funds (1998-2005) whose investments included: Google, Ask Jeeves, Paypal,Good Technology, Opsware, and Brightmail. Ron was recently named #6 in Forbes Magazine Midas list of top “deal-makers” in 2008 and is actively involved in numerous philanthropic endeavors.

 

 

Gina TomlinsonGina Tomlinson
Chief Technology Officer at City and County of San Francisco
Gina’s responsibilities as CTO of the City and County of san Francisco are to set technical strategy, standards, policy, innovation, and process for all City-wide government agencies under the CCSF. Additional duties lie within organizational development and effectiveness…restructuring a dated IT organization, into a more effective, cogent agency supporting the staff across the City and County of SF. 

 

 

Jonathan SiegelJonathan Siegel
Founding Partner, RightVentures

Jonathan Siegel is a serial entrepreneur, angel investor and advisor to many cloud companies. Jonathan is the founder of 4 Internet companies: ELC Technologies (acquired by PriceGrabber’s Kamran Pourzanjani), RightCart (acquired by Buy.com), RightScale, and RightSignature. In 2010, Jonathan joined Accel Partners London before returning to San Francisco in March 2011. He has been on Amazon’s Web Services customer advisory board since 2008. Jonathan speaks frequently on mobile and cloud computing. He is passionate about supporting founders of early stage tech start-ups.

Mr. Daniel Lai is a veteran ICT professional in Hong Kong with extensive experience in the information technology (IT) field, including the planning and implementation of IT projects as well as promoting professional development and the application of IT in the community.

Mr. Herman Lam joined the Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited in March 2010.  As the Chief Executive Officer of Cyberport, Mr. Lam is responsible for leading, representing and administering the company as well as playing a prominent role to promote and implement Cyberport’s public mission strategies.

 

 

 Edith YeungHOST: Edith Yeung
Founding Partner, RightVentures

Edith is the Head of Marketing for Dolphin Browser and also a founding partner at RightVentures. Her focus is mobile and consumer Internet companies. Prior to her current work, Edith founded BizTechDay, the insightful voice of news, events & research for the SMB Internet market and SFentrepreneur, San Francisco's 3700+ member-entrepreneurs. Edith has previously worked with AT&T Wireless, Oracle, Siebel, Autodesk, Cisco, Telstra and Hungary Telecom.
