This interactive workshop will introduce participants to the world of Intrinsic Stablizing Sequences(TM) and how they relate to movement, motor control, motor planning, injury modes and accomodative strategies. Case studies will be used to understand application of the results to guide success in development, academic, athletic performance, and to minimize repetitive stress patterns. Parents and educators can gain insights behind children's behavior and learning styles.
Posture and correct alignment are the foundation to good balance and pain-free movement. Underlying all posture and movement are a set of Intrinsic Stabilizing Sequenes (TM). Ranges of optimal stabiity are also the ranges where an individual functions optimally--positions of success!
