Event description

Description

Do you love live music and great food? Are you looking for a fun way to spend a Saturday night in downtown Richmond?

Join us Valentine's weekend for St. Paul's Annual Winter Ball Fundraiser.

This year's theme is: Love Letter to Richmond: a Black, Red, and Gold Gala.

Live music with the Forest Hillbillies will begin at 5:30 p.m. accompanied by a silent auction, heavy appetizers and drinks (beer, wine and delicious non-alcoholic beverages). Dancing to hits across the decades will follow the live music and continue through 9:00 p.m.

We hope to see you there in your best black, red and gold attire!

Proceeds from this event go towards supporting St. Paul's youth and young adults programs, including outreach service projects and scholarships to Shrine Mont Summer Camp.

Saturday, February 16th

5:30pm to 9pm

St. Paul's Episcopal Church - 815 East Grace Street, Richmond, VA 23219

Enjoy heavy appetizers prepared and catered by St. Paul's Women of a Certain Age and Mosaic Catering. Beer and wine will be available for purchase (it's a fundraiser!).

Purchase tickets before February 7th to receive an Early Bird price of $25. After that tickets will be $30.

Discounts are available for volunteers, students and anyone on a limited income. If you would like to volunteer or need a discounted ticket please contact Keli Cooper at kshipleycooper@stpaulsrva.org.

Music by the Forest Hillbilies: The Forest Hillbillies are a traditional side project of Richmond's own Dharma Bombs. Specializing in bluegrass, country, and old time, this string band brings new energy to age old tunes. Be sure to bring your dancing shoes, because some flatfooting and two-stepping is bound to happen with this driving multi-instrumental string trio!

Evening dance music will be developed and curated by The Avenue DJs and mixed by St. Paul's own dance party team.
