Event Information
About this Event
Please note that all in person Masses are being held OUTDOORS.
We will still be broadcasting the Livestream Masses on Saturday evening and Sunday morning followed by Communion distribution. Please visit our website for further information.
We highly encourage everyone to bring the following with you:
- Warm Clothing
- Footwear appropriate for an outdoor setting (e.g., tennis shoes – ladies, no high heels since we are outdoors and the surfaces can be very uneven)
- Bottled water
- Hand Sanitizer
The following items are NOT permitted:
- Personal Fans (due to the possibility of spreading airborne particles that may carry viruses.)
Please note that restrooms will be for emergency use only
Please remember that, at this time, we can only have a maximum of 100 people present at any one time (which includes the ministers). Even though we cannot have everyone physically present at the celebration of the Mass, at this time, Bishop Barnes’ dispensation is still in effect.
For those who decide not to attend Mass physically, we encourage you to participate in our livestreamed Masses. St. Paul livestreams two Masses every Saturday at 4:00p.m. English and 6:30 p.m. Spanish. On Sunday, we will livestream mass at 9:00am followed by communion distribution at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Mass every weekday is livestreamed at 8:00 a.m. We livestream via our YouTube Channel and Facebook page. For information about everything that's happening at St. Paul, please go to our website: sptacc.org.
For now, and in order to comply with State regulations, as well as our own Diocesan directives, the following will be observed by everyone:
• On the day when you will attend Mass, do a self-assessment. If you have COVID-19, have been exposed to COVID-19, live with someone who has COVID-19, or have one or more symptoms of COVID-19 (such as fever or chills; cough; shortness of breath or difficulty breathing; fatigue; muscle or body aches; headache; new loss of taste or smell; sore throat; congestion or runny nose; nausea or vomiting; diarrhea; etc.), please stay home and do not come to the church.
• Prior to coming to Mass, make sure that you bring with you a valid ticket for that Mass. (The ticket may be printed out on paper or be accessible on your smartphone.)
• If you can't come to mass, please cancel your tickets to allow another parishioner to attend mass.
• Please bring hand sanitizer with you so that you can sanitize your hands prior to coming to mass and before receiving communion.
• Everyone coming to mass WILL be required to wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth. The mask must be worn from the time you arrive until the time you get into your vehicle and depart for home. The only time that you may temporarily remove your mask, is at the moment when you consume the Eucharist during the Communion Rite. Please note that those who are 2 years of age or younger, are not required to wear a mask.
• At all times, maintain strict social distancing of at least six feet from other people (except for members of your own household).
• Strict social distancing begins in the parking lot. Please do not park adjacent to another car. We will have volunteers to make sure proper distance is kept in the parking lot. Please wear your mask when you exit your vehicle.
• Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the Mass. We will a designated area for check-in. You probably will have to wait as each family will be seated individually. Please stand at least six feet apart from other people who do not live in your household, although members of the same household may stand together.
• At the check-in table, a staff member or volunteer will scan the QR code on your ticket. If you do not have a valid ticket for that Mass with a valid QR code, you will not be admitted, and will be asked to return to your home.
• If you are not wearing a mask, you will not be admitted to the church.
• Internal guidance ministers will guide you to your seat. At this time you will NOT be allowed to choose your own place to sit.
• Please drop off your donation near the entrance. Alternatively, please go to our online-giving page to donate online at: sptacc.org/online-giving .
• The invitation to the Sign of Peace will be omitted. No physical contact will be made during the Sign of Peace.
• At this time, Holy Communion will be offered ONLY in the hand.
• Lines for Communion will be monitored so that communicants observe the six feet physical distancing guidelines.
• After Mass, people will be dismissed by ROW by the internal guidance ministers.
• Please do not gather with others in the courtyard or the parking lot.
Please be aware that these modifications are temporary, and will continue to change as we journey forward.
